Somewhere outside our warm houses. Somewhere we do not know yet, and someone we do not care for. Every day, people walking through our streets, and children learning at school. But in this world, it also happens – people running out of their houses, and scared children. We know how to live here, but in other countries people are just trying to endure war the best they can. Adults and parents are trying to protect themselves and their families, and children are trying not to understand the situation and had been starting to have fun with it. This is what has come to us from a photo.

 

We have seen this image thanks to Sedat Suna, a photojournalist who decided to take photographs of the end of the war at Syria in April 2021. He is working for the European Pressphoto Agency and has win many awards. The smallest playing to save the world. The photo of a devastating moment captured kids having fun. Some children were playing with a real tank in some cities aft er war. It shows the four, dressed, and defined by dirty and worn clothes figures. They are hanging the real tank showing that they are not afraid anymore and knowing that they must go on.

They must had been born after the war has started as they are little and the war at Syria started too many years ago. They are having fun as they must have been too many years suffering because of war. There must had been an explosion as there are no buildings and the ground is dry, dirty, and destroyed. The reason why they are on a tank must be because the tank must had been abandoned and war must have ended. Their parents must be feeling happy because their children are moving on with their live.

When I first saw this photo, I thought of myself and my childhood, and that I was supposed to had lived more situations than them as I am older. At the end, these children are developing feelings, because they are getting used to live like this, something I could not do.
